I have recently changed laptops and am trying to run ACC4LV from LV 2016. I keep getting an error when I open ACC4LV through the tools menu. I have installed the two most recent version of the IDE and placed them in several different directories and attempted to open ACC4LV without success. I keep getting directed to install 1.5.7 or higher but I already have 1.8.0 and 1.8.1. I have placed them in the C Program Files x86 directory as directed.

With this new laptop I was directed to install Microsoft onedrive to help with transferring. I suspected that the service was changing my file paths so I have since uninstalled One Drive. I then re-downloaded the IDE and still cannot run ACC4LV.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Per the Product User Manual, the Arduino IDE is required to be installed on its default directory for the compiler to properly function. Give that a try.

Okay, forth time is a charm. May have needed the last power cycle to get it to complete. I was not prompted to go through the whole install process the first three times.

So now it will open but will not discover the port that the UNO is connected to. Device Manager shows it on Port 4. "Port" under "Tools will not highlight, even after attempting to detect ports. At the bottom of the ACC4LV window it says "UNO on com 15"? What am I missing here?

I can compile my code and I receive a "finished" but then there is a message below that says "DPI detection failed, fallback to 96 dpi."

If I try to compile and download I get a error report.

Do you have NI-VISA installed? I think you can really benefit from reading through the product user manual.

Cheers
