Error - Function not supported

Hi.

I have just come back to using the compiler after several months, and find that when I try to compile any LV code, even one of the examples, I get several error messages such as

Error in Digital Output - Blink LED.vi Native function "Wait" not supported

Error in Digital Output - Blink LED.vi "Pin Mode" not supported

I have searched this forum, without any success.

Please could someone tell me where to find help on what I may have broken or am doing wrongly?

Many thanks

Alan K.

See here:

You cannot generate Arduino Code.  You need to either select Verify, or Compile and Download.

Many thanks for the prompt reply Steffan.

That explains it perfectly, - I should not have been clicking on the Compiler > Arduiono Code option - my mistake.

However, I still have my original problem.  - If I take the simplest of programs, say the  "Blink LED.vi" from the examples folder and compile and down-load it, the process does not complete.  I see the following messages

Running interpreter...Finished!

Generating downloadable program...Finished!

Compiling and downloading...Finished

No further output is generated, and no code is downloaded to my target board.

I am running Arduino IDE Version 1.6.12 under Windows XP  -  The file "Arduino.exe" is located in C:\Program Files\Arduino\

This configuration has worked perfectly well in the past

Please can you suggest what I may be doing wrong?

Many thanks

Regards  Alan K.

Many thanks once again Steffan.  - I had completely missed the answer staring me in the face 😏

I have downloaded the latest version of Arduino and all is well again.

I'll read the FAQs more carefully next time!
