I want to run the Blink LED.vi using the on-board LED (LED_BUILTIN) similar to the sketch demo for Blink. Is it referenced by a digital pin number or some other way? I though the block diagram tools pallete might have a constant or something but I did not see one.

Did you see the Instructions on the Front Panel?  It should reference the digital pin number to use for the onboard LED.  It is board dependent but is pin 13 on most boards.

Instructions:
1. Wire an LED's anode to a digital pin on the Arduino board and wire the cathode to a ground pin through a 220ohm or equivalent resistor (or use the onboard LED on pin 13).
