Development environment:
Windows 7 SP1; LabVIEW 2014 SP1; Arduino IDE V1.6.9; Compiler V1.0.0.21; Arduino DUE Board
My RTCCode.vi is made with a FGV. When it is called as a sub VI，Compile error. When the VI's name changes, and compile OK.

It seems you may have come across a bug in the compiler. One workaround for you to get going is to bring the FGV (RTCCode) you are wrapping inside the TempABC.vi up one level to the Main.vi. So your main vi would have two calls to the FGV, one with init, as you are already doing, and the second with Read All. You wouldn't need a call to the TempABC.vi as part of Main. I have tried that here on my end and it does compile.

As a subVI cannot use an uninitialized shift register in another discussion topic, I removed the shift register, use global variables. Compile still error! In addition, if item name of enumerate variable contains a "?" character, it will cause a compilation error.
