Why does 2992 / 1000 = 2.000000?  Is the standard LabVIEW division not support? Do I have to use the quotient / remainder division?

Multiple by 0.001 works fine.  2992 * 0.001 = 2.992000

Its likely an issue with casting/coercion at the input of the divide primitive.  Try changing the 1000 constant to a double.  I believe one of the inputs needs to be a float for the casting to work.
